• The Caroskin™ Skin Lotion works³ [read: works to the third]: what do we mean with this?

A healthy skin has to be hydrated – therefor exists much good crèmes: of very cheap to very expensive!

A skin which stands under stress, which is (or has become) dry, which is red, needs however more than a good hydrating crème! Here the skin needs an emulsion which helpsto reinforce its structure. The Caroskin™ Skin lotion reinforce the hydrolipide layer of the skin, the Caroskin™ Skin lotion must work ³!

The Caroskin™ Skin Lotion 1) hydrates, 2) completes & 3) anchors!

1. To hydrate: important to do regularly with a healthy skin when suffering due to possible circumstances, hygiene measures, … The Caroskin™ Skin lotion hydrates the skin good in advance.
2. To complete: small cracks that occurs to ie the hydrolipide layer – by an expanding skin, caused by too regularly washing of the skin, by external factors (UV,…) – are by use of the Caroskin™ Skin lotion completed and it occurres at this way that the hydrolipide layer would show skin openings.
   These hydrolipide layer may not have openings cause it owns an important barrier function concerning entirely our body! This completion  is made possible by the use of top quality raw materials and the application of a unique scientifically founded structure - the Liquid Crystal Structure (to read further)
3. To anchor: The hydrolipide layer covers the skin and forms a film which prevents drying out the skin and contributes to anchoring the skin warrants (corneocyten). By being able to maintain the skin warrants longer, the skin foresees itself of a longer and correct 'auto' hydration as a result of which the skin will feel dry less rapidly or show tingling phenomena.

• The Caroskin™ Skin Lotion consists of quality products

Caroskin™ Skin Lotion mainly consists of:

1. Silicone oil - dimethicone - an enormously fine oil which is very well endured by the skin. This very stable silicone oil does ensure good expansion, is not greasy, is not occlusive and offers a gentle, silky skin feeling.
2. Glycerin – is a classic to preserve the moisture content  of skin care products and is used as a reference product to measure the hydrating impact of other raw materials on the skin. The use of glycerin improves skin flexibility. Recent study has shown the combined impact of an improvement of the hydration and a stabilization of the barrier function at the use of glycerin. Both properties happen independently of each other and have been proved scientifically: glycerin creates a stimulus for barrier recovery  and improves the hydration of the stratum corneum, even up to 7 days after concluding the treatment. Glycerin has also a  light anti-microbial functioning, is not irritating for the skin and is not sensitising.
3. Laureth 9 – is a topical anestheticum and ensure a local anaesthesia. This impact is used in softening products to reduce the itchiness. Itchiness is large problem at the repaired skin then risk scratches returns and this way the skin is damaged Laureth-9 is not irritating sensitising for the skin and not.
4. Lactic acid raises cellular turn-over of the stratum the Corneum. This impact is PH related. The Caroskin™ Skin lotion has pH 4.5-5 because lower pH can give irritation. The low pH and the antimicrobic properties of lactic acid form an unfavourable environment for micro-organisms and can possibly reduce the odours.
