Caroskin™ COMFORT– the first caring garment with compression

The Caroskin™ COMFORT is a full compression class II garment with compression.

Due to our unique 3TK technology, Tricolast has been able to developed a range of made to measure garments with compression of high-quality, made of natural yarns which a correct, longer stretch which to considerably raise the comfort of the patient without losing the therapeutic value.

The longer stretch of the Caroskin™ COMFORT also offers a wider margin concerning compression distribution at possible weight gaining patients. At extreme weight increase, re-measuring needs to be considered.

The Caroskin™ COMFORT compression garments contains natural extracts of shellfish.

The use of the extracts of shellfish in this garment with compression not only results in a unique therapeutic compression function, but also in a light healing of microwounds on the fragile skin the first couple of weeks/months!

The Caroskin™ COMFORT is advised as first garment with compression.

The Caroskin™ STRONG is a full compression class II compression garment. Mainly used starting at 4 months after wearing the Caroskin™ Comfort garments.

The Caroskin™ STRONG garments have been adjusted to the requirements of a skin that has been closed for 4 months and in full anticipation on the needs of the patient who have in the meantime became more mobile,… without losing the correct therapeutic value.

Caroskin™ Silicone Garments

The Caroskin™ silicone garments are made to measure products and are mainly used to create/provide a semi-occlusive environment on large, circular areas.

The Caroskin Silicone garments can be used at best in a preventive way.

When working on existing scars, the Caroskin Silicone garments do show a significant change of mobility on existing scar that endanger the mobility of the patients area treated.

The semi-occlusive climate starts an 'moisturizing/softening process', which will make eventually immobilised surfaces more flexible.

Both Caroskin™ Silicone Garments or Silicone Sheets offer semi- occlusivity. However Silicone Garments are prefered when one large circular surfaces or large existing scars has to be treated!

The Caroskin Silicone garments can be combined worn with the Caroskin Comfort garments ONLY - notify us when you wish to do so!

In order to be able to pull on the Caroskin Silicone garments, it is a REQUIREMENT to use the right amount of Caroskin Skin Lotion to "glide on" the silicone garments.

NEVER USE OTHER PRODUCTS underneath the Caroskin™ Silicone Garments. The accompanying products are designed to optimally function and to maintain the Caroskin™ products. Use of other products shall lead to the stretching of the silicon layer, with the result that the garments will stretch.

In association with a specialized laboratory, the unique Caroskin™ Skin lotion has been developed for filling out the needs of burnt patients their skin.

Caroskin™ Cleaning Soap

Caroskin™ Cleaning Soap is an environmentally friendly soap that is especially to wash the Caroskin™ products DAILY without losing on the elastic or semi-occlusive qualities of the products!

When washing the Caroskin garments/products daily with a regular cleaning agent you might loose rapidly on your elasticity. 

On the silicone garments you might increase the possibility that the skin reacts on soap particles (when not rinsed correctly) that are left behind in the silicone layers. Silicone naturally ABSORBS particules.

In a semi-occlusive environment, this possible effect will be even higher! Therefore, use the Caroskin Cleaning soap because all "working" ingredients have been taken out in order to clean the garments without loosing out on their individual working qualities.

Standard cleaning producs have on long term, an adverse effect on the quality of the products.

• Reduces bacterial growth
• May be used in the washing machine

Use:

• washing machine : 12 tablespoons = 80ml
• hand wash : 6 tablespoons = 40ml

The Caroskin™ Velvet Touch is a silicone gel that gives the skin a silky smooth touch

Caroskin™ Velvet Touch silicone gel is an especially developed transparent gel with a specific formula that forms instantly a thin layer leaving your skin feeling covered with a unique silicone layer without the sticky sensation!

Scientific studies show that there is less scarring, if the damaged part of the skin is in constant contact with silicone after wound healing.

Caroskin™ Velvet Touch is an ideal product to use on small areas on the face as well as smaller surgical incision scars, after the wound has healed.
